Evening primrose oil mitigates liver damage
We investigated how evening primrose oil, enhanced with gamma-linolenic acid and D/L-alpha tocopherol, could protect against liver damage in a rat model. In this study, male rats were divided into four groups, including a control and treatment group.

We found that the evening primrose oil group showed improvements in liver health compared to those exposed to carbon tetrachloride, a harmful substance. While liver enzymes returned to safer levels and tissue damage was reduced, the oil’s effectiveness emphasizes its potential benefits for supporting liver health.

No significant effect on survival
We investigated the effects of evening primrose oil, which contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), on primary liver cancer in a double-blind placebo-controlled trial. Unfortunately, we found that while there was no significant impact on survival time or liver size, the treatment did show a beneficial effect on liver function as indicated by improvements in Gamma Glutamyl transferase values. Importantly, participants experienced no side effects, suggesting it could be a safe option, though the large tumors and low doses used might explain the limited effects on survival.

Improved menstrual cycle

Indispensable for women's health, I use it in the complex treatment of endometriosis at a dosage of 1300 mg twice a day. Primrose contains gamma linolenic acid (GLA), which suppresses inflammatory and autoimmune processes. What have I noticed? Critical days have become quite regular, without pain or spasms. Hormones are balanced, with no bias towards oestrogen. It is suitable for women with painful menstrual cycles and to prevent oestrogen-dependent diseases. It reduces unpleasant symptoms, such as hot flashes, during the climacteric period.

Evening primrose oil offers numerous benefits for women, especially in normalising hormonal balance and alleviating PMS symptoms. While I sought help for fibrocystic issues and reproductive pain, this supplement has also proven useful for male hormonal disorders. It supports liver cleansing and enhances overall health. Regular use can help mitigate the risk of strokes and heart attacks and improve skin health significantly.

Significant pain relief

I have suffered from women's pains for 10 years. Tired of painkillers, I became concerned for my liver as I aged. After researching various remedies, I began taking evening primrose oil. While effects weren't immediate, after consuming about one-third of the bottle, my pain notably decreased (previously it was excruciating for the first 2-3 days). Overall, I am very satisfied with this product’s impact.

Effective for pregnancy

This oil truly works! It helped me conceive. I initially used evening primrose oil to balance hormones, knowing its success rate for many. I took it for two weeks with two capsules daily. After that, I developed red spots and stopped. However, two weeks later I fell pregnant. This oil, rich in OMEGA-6 PUFA, should be avoided with autoimmune conditions as it can trigger inflammation. For hormonal imbalance, it proved highly effective in my case.

Evening Primrose Oil, which is rich in gamma-linolenic acid (Omega 6), is beneficial for women’s health. Regular intake can regulate menstruation, ease PMS symptoms, and enhance reproductive functions. I’ve noticed positive changes; my menstrual cycle is now regular, pain has significantly decreased, and my skin has improved remarkably. It's essential to take the oil consistently for the best results, and I found capsules effective. If you are not pregnant, I recommend taking one capsule twice daily for two months, then take a break.

Evening primrose oil is renowned for its restorative and antioxidant qualities. I have personally found it beneficial for skin disorders, digestive issues, and liver disease. It also enhances women's reproductive health. Since I began taking it, PMS has vastly improved, and I experience no pain. A friend found relief from severe pain caused by her condition after using this oil. I believe this oil, especially from Solgar, is a trusted choice during summer for optimal effects.

Effective menopause solution

Useful, especially for older women! My mother, aged 56, uses this oil to reduce hot flashes and moments of discomfort during menopause. Unlike her previous experience with a different brand, this Solgar oil worked swiftly from the first capsule! Her hot flashes disappeared by day three. Now, she feels much better and has no recurring feelings of fear in the morning, possibly due to improved hormonal balance. I highly recommend it!

I’m using it for endometriosis and hormonal balance! It took me a while to decide, as opinions vary. I combine it with DIM, green tea, vitex, omega-3, and a liver support supplement. My first period while taking it was surprisingly smooth, with no PMS—quite shocking! Though I still experienced some abdominal pain, the improvement in chest fullness is noteworthy, indicating that the product is effective. I look forward to consulting a doctor for further insights.
